This is an absolute mirror of our first game against them. They took control very early and every time we showed any teeny, weenie scrape of momentum -- they killed us with a 3. Or we just gave it back with foolish play.

That’s the problem for 5 years or more. Can’t extend leads or mount quick big comebacks without it.  It’s not modern basketball and everything is a grind.

We cut the lead to 10, the crowd is roaring.

Hmm. How weird. A defensive lineup helps us make a little run. What a new concept. Would be nice to start a half without our two defensive liabilities to see what happens.

I just hope recruits aren’t turned off by watching Woodson and this team this year. Woody has some good players coming in, but if I was a recruit and watching Stewart and Kopp play a lot of useless minutes while Geronimo and Bates sat I’d be thinking Nah not for me. Not to mention how bad and stagnant the offense has looked. I’m hoping with more talent and more than 1 guy on the team being able to play out of the PnR offense it will look a lot better.
