Class of '66 Old Fart

IUBB @ Maryland - 01/29/22 @ 2:30 on Fox-TV

Badly need a road win to make up for the egg we laid at home against Michigan.  Maryland (11-9) (3-6) but they've won their last 2.  They beat Illinois 81-65 at home and beat Rutgers at Rutgers 68-60.  I've not seen anything at all about Rob's injury.

From Woody today.

Khristian Lander could be available tomorrow at Maryland for "limited" minutes, but Woodson says he will know more on Saturday morning.

Mike Woodson says Rob Phinisee won't play tomorrow. "He could possibly be day to day." It's plantar fasciitis.   [More than one tweeter referenced plantars as Rob's problem per Woody]

Tamar Bates and Trey Galloway would be used as primary ball handlers at times to spot Xavier Johnson some minutes if Khristian Lander can't go

It's a miracle, Lander is better & might be able to play tomorrow. It's like Mr. Miyagi rubbed his hands together and touched whatever part was hurt on KL. It's funny since before the PSU game Fisher asked Woody what the health of the team was and Woody replied 100% healthy. Not sure we're getting the whole story.

Shout out to Mr. Miyagi then. I’d rather see Little Khristian running the point than Trey or Tamar, even for a couple minutes.

It's mostly about defending the three-point shot of MD's guards.  And hitting free throws...and rebounding...and playing like we did in the 1st half...

They know they can.  Just do it.

Go Hoosiers!

and not turning it over...and causing a little chaos that leads to easy buckets...and getting off to a fast start...and some bench production...!!!

And hitting shots and grabbing boards and most important scoring more points than them.

^ That’s some bill Walton quality analysis
