Just happened upon this tonight. It's about 14 minutes or so. If you've got the time, it's worth a look. The guy was a pretty amazing person. 

I lost my dad to dementia about 4 1/2 years ago, so it hit close to home ...

what a great story.  My Dad was 2 years younger and was also in Normandy in the Navy and dementia claimed him as well. That was a very hard working generation.
