From what I've seen on 247, the only D1 offers I saw were Central Michigan and Indiana.  He probably had a few more, but obviously wasn't in big demand for majors.

Looks like we’re going after a new ‘22 Texas QB. Matt Weaver says he’ll be in town for an official this weekend. Unranked with offers from the service academies and FCS schools right now. Late bloomer or more likely purchasing a lottery ticket with all these extra scholarship spots thanks to the portal.

Ah, the wording of this reads as a PWO offer. It’s not nothing, but it isn’t an “offer” really either.

Statistically looks like more of a late bloomer but still very raw.  From Maxpreps, he has stats from 9 games listed;  completed just 58 of 134 passes (43%) for 851 yards with 7 TDs and 7 picks.  Much improved as a senior -- Maxpreps only gives stats for 7 games which either means he was hurt for a couple of games or there are some missing games in terms of stats;  complete 78 of 150 (52%) for 1271 yards and 14 TDs with just 3 picks.  Turned into a dual threat, ran for 791 yards on just 102 carries and ran for 15 touchdowns.

Sounds more like an athlete playing quarterback than a pure quarterback at the college level.

He’s a project that won’t need to play right away. However he could be used as a gadget guy in certain situations based on his size and athleticism.

Huge addition to the LB room, paired with Casey and Jennings Jr from the portal and the young guys like Freeman - not too bad at all.

Didn't see it listed here, but Sorsby committed to IU back on January 23rd.  

Film I've seen shows him as a pretty good runner (not a cut on a dime guy, but a guy with decent speed who runs through contact).  Looked like offensively his team rolled him out a lot and he'll need to work on his accuracy.
