Casey Thompson — who they have on the list — committed to TCU a week ago.

I think out of that list I would say calzada is probably the best option and has shown he could win big games.

Pete Thamel -- OU QB Caleb Williams is entering the NCAA transfer portal. He'll be the most sought after player in the portal.

That's a strange one.  Starting QB on a top ten team as a freshman looking for greener pastures?  OU offense already fit his style.

Another QB available

Pete Thamel  -  Oregon quarterback Robby Ashford plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal. He’s expected to end up in there in the next 24 hours. Ashford was the No. 15 @rivals dual-threat QB in 2020.

That's two QBs that Oregon has lost now.

Ashford is a two sport athlete at Oregon -- also plays baseball.  As a true freshman, got in 20 games at had 7 hits in 35 at bats.

This is an easy one because he will follow his former coach to USC

Pretty sure OU is going to undergo a huge culture shift under Venables. Not that it was a bad culture under Riley, just different. Might be a turn off for some.

And a second one also visiting. This one is a talented but unproven player -- much more of a running threat -- this time with three years eligibility remaining. Former #216 composite ranked player overall. Was #2 at Clemson last year. Would have been behind the incumbent and maybe an incoming five star if he stayed at Clemson.

Intriguing player

Been curious about his name for a while, but never had the desire to go look it up til now. Its origin is from Laos and is pronounced Puma-Chon according to Clemson's website.
