 It's tournament time in Bloomington.
 
Indiana men's soccer (12-4-1, 5-3-0 B1G) is set to kick off the Big Ten Tournament, a contest the Hoosiers have won a league record 15 times, when it hosts Rutgers (9-5-2, 3-4-1 B1G) in the quarterfinal round Sunday (Nov. 7) at 1 p.m. ET on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

SETTING THE SCENE
• Indiana hosts as the No. 3 seed, while Rutgers claimed the No. 6 seed. The victor will face the winner of No. 2 Maryland and No. 7 Northwestern.
• Sunday marks the first-ever Big Ten Tournament meeting between the two programs.
• The two teams met to open Big Ten Conference play on September 17 at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Rutgers went home with a 2-1 win, scoring twice in the second half after Daniel Munie's 23rd minute opener.
 
ABOUT THE SCARLET KNIGHTS
• Rutgers is led by Third-year head coach Jim McElderry. He owns a 20-17-6 record during his time with the Scarlet Knights.
• Junior midfielder Jackson Temple leads Rutgers in scoring with six goals to his name this season. Senior defender Thomas DeVizio has contributed a team-high five assists.
• Junior goalkeeper Oren Asher has started 15 matches for Rutgers, allowing 15 goals. The three-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week owns seven clean sheets this season.
 
SERIES HISTORY
• Indiana and Maryland have played each other 15 times since 1993 with Indiana holding a 10-3-2 record in the all-time series.
• After an IU four-match winning streak, Rutgers won the most recent matchup earlier this season, September 17, 2-1.
• Four current Hoosiers have scored against the Scarlet Knights: Ryan Wittenbrink (2), Victor Bezerra, Daniel Munie and Joe Schmidt.
 
BIG TEN AWARD HAUL
• With two specialty award winners, eight Indiana student-athletes combined for a league-best tying 10 Big Ten postseason honors as announced by the conference office on Friday (Nov. 5).
• Junior Roman Celentano is first-ever two-time Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year, earning the award in back-to-back seasons. An Indiana goalie has claimed the award in three of the last four years as Trey Muse received the honor following the 2018 season.
• Junior Daniel Munie is the fourth Hoosier in the last five seasons to earn the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Award, following Grant Lillard (2017), Andrew Gutman (2018) and Jack Maher (2019).
 Victor Bezerra, Herbert Endeley and Spencer Glass were All-Big Ten Second Team selections.
• Forwards Tommy Mihalic and Samuel Sarver earned All-Big Ten Freshman Team laurels.
• Sophomore Joey Maher was one of nine league recipients of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.

IU really lucky not to go do down a goal early as Rutgers looked like better team in all facets and Hoosiers fortunate a Rutgers player slipped in front of net on a cross or Scarlet Knight's have easy goal. 

However, IU needs very little to make you pay and they do that with Sarver getting free and taking pass for a goal. 1-0 15 min left first half.
