Much better start so far. Our best of season by far. Controlling possession and only one minor defensive slippage that was shot over net. We also built a goal with Goumballe on a breakaway forcing the goalie to far out. His clearance though went to an oncoming Sarver who chipped it for a goal. So far this Xavier team looks much more like a Big Ten team sitting back and letting IU control. Having Bezerra back though is big. He is not 100% and has a brace but just the threat of him is big as Xavier tries to defend.

1-0 at half. Not perfect but huge improvement from Friday. A few small slippages on D and Munie still seems to have taken several steps back this year, but possession and attack were better. Not perfect but step in right direction from Friday.

IU Wins 1-0! That looked much closer to IU Soccer. D in second half was rock solid and never any real chance for Xavier to equalize. We were outshot 7-5 but controlled the possession in the game. 

Bezerra played a different role as a holding mid with a brace on his knee, but the threat and talent of him absolutely matters. Once He, Sarver, Mihalic along with Endeley and Wittenbrink are all 100% I am not sure how you stop that. Had a couple dangerous chances in second half, but no goals before playing back and protecting lead quite well.

That Akron game is toughest of year but if Bezerra is 100% finally I am not sure any D can stop us.
