Senior moment.  I overlooked Bryson Tucker '24 who just received an IU offer earlier this month.  He's #3 on the Rivals list and wasn't ranked on the ESPN Top 25.

Latest from 247.  It does not rate the '24 and '25 classes.  I have no explanation for the dramatic drop in Jakai Newton's ranking.  Entirely possible I made a typo in his Oct. '21 ranking but I don't  think there's any way for me to go back and double check.  Really nice bumps for Gunn, Cupps and Parks.

I don't think they have updated the '23 class, just '22.

So Jakai's ranking hasn't changed. His 247 ranking has been 117 for awhile. His 247 composite has been 67 for awhile as well

hasn't changed. They didn't update his class. He has always been 117 on 247 and 67 on 247 composite.

Rivals currently has Newton at 43, which is up 47 spots from where they had him previously.  That also explains why his composite is so much higher than 247's internal ranking.  I would imagine he makes a big jump with 247 too once they get around to updating the 2023 kids.

That makes sense. He’s playing more like a top 30 kid. 247 needs to cut the slacking.

Better PR machine which is probably how a lot of the numbers get assigned.  No way every kid is being watched equally.

This is fair. Guys can’t physically see all recruits so thos who have the means to commicate well,how they are doing and big games help a lot.
