I don't care where he's ranked, I can't wait to watch him play for the Hoosiers! He's a difference maker, whether in practice or games.

Agree 100%! It will be hard to keep this kid off the court.

Queen is sinking

Look at the dive by McNeil. After the comments he made discussing his transfer to his new prep school, I'd be perfectly fine missing on him.

Give me Flory, Newell and anyone else that is a scorer to form my Class of 3.

Now if we don't get a single player from this initial list, would it be an overreaction to be concerned?  lol

With success on the court, recruiting should take care of itself. Fingers crossed.

Or, just outcoach everyone. lol

we better not count on that outcoaching everyone strategy.  It's significantly overtouted.  :)

I would say that with enough talent you certainly don't need to out coach anyone, but you cannot be a crap coach with talent and win big. Examples? Penny, and Calipari for about the past five years.

agreed!  Especially on Penny.  I think Cal has a lot of strengths besides friends with deep pockets, but I'd also never classify him as a coaching savant.  Him figuring out the One N Done, Fab5 strategy and putting all his eggs in that basket has paid off pretty well, all things considered.  Crean wanted to be like Cal so badly.  But I love that even Crean got the best of Cal those couple of games.  That's Rich.

Eh, I mean Calipari has won 25+ games in 4 of the last 5 seasons. Won the SEC once, finished second two times. Two sweet 16s and one elite eight (with the tournament being canceled one of those five seasons).

26-8; 9-16; 25-6; 30-7; and 26-11.

Is that winning big? I guess it depends on one’s definition. IU has won 25 games twice in the past decade, and four times in the last 19 years. Folks don’t like Calipari’s ways, but he’s been in the elite eight in half of his seasons at Kentucky. I’d rather have to out talent a team using mediocre coaching than out coach a team using mediocre talent.
