Surprised Banks dropped. He's been playing well.

No respect for Banks. I like what I see. He’s better than Jeremy Hollowell, at 6’8”. Not sure what the scouts aren’t seeing besides his HS team isn’t great, doesn’t play the toughest schedule. AAU must have been underwhelming. I don’t know, but for those that think I’m always to reliant on ratings, well not always, I like Banks, and I say underrated.

How do they even evaluate guys like Evans? Averages maybe 4 and 3 and is a top 5 player.

Not sure in his specific case, but he may be featured on his AAU team. In addition, recruiting services surely get eyes on practice at the big academy/factory spots

I always thought the cutoff for 5 stars was #25 and up. Typical ESPN, trying to find a way to downplay our class.

I think some services were top 25 5 stat, 26-100 4 star etc and some assigned a rating # and anyone above 99.00 was a 5star whether that stopped at 21 or continued to 30 whatever.

Alex breaks out all of the B1G recruits from the Rivals’ ratings. 2 really underrated kids: Thornton and Kohler. Thornton is built like a linebacker, has no fear, and just wills teams to wins. Kohler is legit 6’10”, has a huge frame, 3 pt range and a really refined low post game.
