Hoosiers win the opening game of the series 1-0 courtesy of an rbi triple by Grayson Radcliffe in the bottom of the 3rd.  For the game Hoosiers had 5 hits, committed 1 error and left 6 on base.  Emily Goodin went the distance allowing just 2 hits, walked 3, struck out 4.  Doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon.

Hoosiers got 2 more runs in the 6th and lead 4-0 going into the final inning.  After a Radcliffe double, Bella Norton launched one over the left field fence.   Natalie Foor replaced Goodin in the 7th and gave up 2 singles putting Spartan runners on the corners with 2 outs but got a groundout to short to end the game with Hoosiers winning 4-0.

In her 6 innings, Goodin gave up just 2 hits and walked only 1 Spartan.

Hoosiers take the second game 3-0 and Emily Goodin has been totally dominating on the mound.  She has pitched 20 of the 21 innings played this weekend allowing a total of just 10 hits.  She's walked 6 and the Spartans have yet to score a run against IU.  Series wraps up tomorrow with a scheduled noon start.

Hoosiers lose game #4 of the weekend series 2-0 which is a darn shame because of Emily Goodin's weekend performance.  She went the distance again today allowing 5 singles, struck out 7 and didn't walk a batter.  Both of Sparty's runs were scored in the first inning as a result of an error from our first baseman Grace Lorsung.  Goodin pitched 27 of the 28 innings played and didn't allow a single earned run.  She gave up a total of 15 hits (all singles) and walked just 6 batters.

Women will be at home again next weekend hosting Penn State.
