BTW it stopped raining and field looks fine. They will need to wait for second storm to clear as even if it misses it will get within the lightning radius. Hopefully good after that pending nothing else popping up.

There are some storms trying to form behind it but they may stay well south of stadium. That is the big question. Sunset should cut them off. Question is how late into the night are teams willing to play if we get a couple more of these which hopefully we don't.

6:48pm now. As I said one more storm to wait out. Most of which should remain south of stadium. Should be clear after that pending no more pop ups which is not a guarantee.

That's called pop up storms will hit someone in state all night just like last one hit Cary. As I said these conditions are unpredictable. Could get nothing or storm all night. No way to know.
