Never seen so many yellow cards in a game. IU turned it up in the 2nd half. Great finishes in close by Endeley & Goumballe. Celentano with some nice D in the end. Hoosiers move on.

That easily could be a record for a game without a red card.

Much better game. We only forced Celentano into one tough save and he made it. Our defense was much better and we really should of had a shutout. This effort against a far better team, can absolutely get you the three more wins you need to hoist a banner.

Its also nice to see that we finally have soccer as a sport back to where it was when Yeagley Sr. was here. Three Elite 8's in four years, six straight Big Ten Titles (after 2 Big Ten Titles and 2 appearances past the Sweet 16 between 2005 and 2016). The number in losses in general since 2013 keeps decreasing.

College Soccer is much more competitive now and a top IU team should be what they have been last five years. You don't need to win a title every year, but you had better be there with a chance and until 2016 we really were not (That 2012 title was pure luck where we were barely a top 20 team and got hot and played most of tourney on road). Also, we finally have started winning in OT and PK's last five years which we never did before that. Those few game differences are why we are a top 5 program last five years instead of a top 20-25 program Freitag destroyed us into and took Yeagley a few years to bring back but we made it!

I’m confused on why it went to 13 rounds

It actually went to 8 rounds.

They were tied 4-4 after five  -- so they kept going until one team scored and the other didn't (in this case, Clemson).
