As I’ve said for years. Most teams run some version of 41 in college.  It’s not so much the intricacies of the offense, it’s the athletes, m shot makers, spacing, and players that can read and react.

what I never understood from Archie is he was so predictable.  He didn’t encourage transition.  He strongly discouraged early shots even when open.  He set up the actions the same way over and over and over.  We never saw backcuts, give n gos, simple basketball plays.  It was all fees the post or picknroll/pop over and over.  Get someone moving off the ball.

IU ran 32 so much......with no inside spacing on the two inside guys.  Never understood that.

Actually, the worst take I've ever seen was any three point shot that Galloway took last year.  Hope that part of his game improves.

Very true. On the bright side I don’t think his shooting could get worse so it can only get better.

My take of keeping Archie wasn’t worse? I wanted to be a winner of something :(
Hmm players not lifting for half a year or keeping archie another year. I give you the edge. Congrats

I don't care what anyone says. You do your lifting in the off-season. Once the season starts, you're staying shape. Not trying to bulk up.

You can do weight training that isn’t focused on getting you bulky. Watch the stuff that LeBron does throughout the season.

Lifting =/= bulking. It happens in phases. That's how athletic development works. Even during hypertrophy phases as an athlete you're not doing things guys who are prepping for strong men or body building competitions are. They are athletes and being in the weight room in season is important to that athletic development. Such an uninformed and old school take.

So you don’t care what, say, licensed professional athletic trainers, strength coaches, sports focused physicians who specialize in the field say?

Correct. Because our team absolutely sucks at shooting... Seems to be a recurring them... If they are lifting during the season... Quit doing it. No reason at any level.

So all the teams that ARE good at shooting DON’T lift during the season?

And you think they started lifting during the season only during the last 4 seasons? It's not a new thing. The lack of shooting is more due to Miller than weight lifting.
