Actually Bill Guthridge won 74% of his games and was a long time UNC assistant. Doherty struggled but was a UNC guy and then they hired Roy who was a UNC guy. It'll be a UNC guy.

Interesting time in college basketball. Lots of successful programs have coaches on the way out soon..Duke, Michigan State, Syracuse to name some.

Not that he was a candidate here at any time but his name came up here and there. This is why I'm glad he wasn't actually a candidate. Can you imagine if we had hired him a week or 2 ago? He would have Chris Beard-ed us in a heartbeat to go back home and we'd have more egg on our face than ever.

I originally thought Brad was the only coach who could unite the fan base. But after seeing what Woody has done, knowing our history, and being one of us I think he's the one for the job. Just my opinion but just feel really good about Woody
