Maybe we can get Depends to sponsor the games.

Don't forget Viagra. The Assembly Hall advertisements would be lit lol.

In all seriousness, Woodson doesn't look 63 at all. Brown doesn't look 80, but he was already short and balding.

Give me those two, and two young hot shots. Matta is in the middle, but he looks older than his age.

Man when he loosens up and starts smiling you can see his personality

Also, on some level I’m getting a low key Tom Allen vibe. Different personalities for sure, but you can sense his first priority is people and vision of family rather than all X’s and O’s strategy stuff

Not sure why anyone could see this as a bad thing. Do you really think that Coach Woodson, a RMK acolyte, is going to run a dirty program? Zero chance.

If this isn't taking one of the assistant spots, I'm not sure why we wouldn't want another great basketball mind to be around the program. Not that he necessarily needs it, but Matta and Brown give Woodson immediately credibility with anyone who knows anything about basketball.

Brown has spent a literal lifetime around the game.  He could be a heck of an asset but at 80 I'm not sure how much he could actually help; it's possible he's really forgotten more than most people would ever know.

One thing's for sure, you'd be hard pressed to find another staff with the, ummm, wealth of knowledge ours would have.

They’re not going to hire an 80 year with ailing mental health just to do it, otherwise they’d bring on RMK. I think it’s safe to say he’s mentally there if he is seriously being considered.

The rumor states that it would be an on-campus position. That, to me, says not an assistant job. Instead it would likely be something similar to what Matta is doing. Just another good basketball mind around the program.

Could be a talent scout when it comes to recruiting. Trouble with the curve

Yea because he’s now involved with the Knicks. WWW won’t be paying players to come to IU but he can open recruiting doors for Woodson to get into.
