Says Brad Stevens is probably staying with Celtics.

I place him right behind Izzo at 2nd.  I hate typing Painter is right there below them along with Holtman.  Greg Gard rounds out the top 5.  I can’t put Howard that high yet but probably will be soon.

No one from national media wants Stevens to come to IU because they'd have to eat their own words. Local guys agreeing with them are just not good at their job. I'm optimistic until I have a reason not to be.

Greenburg also saying if you don't have three guys with legit interest that you feel confident in hiring then you don't make this change and you wait another year.  DD agreed.

The Beilein reaction is fascinating. His years at UM he was in any conversation for the best guy in the country. For me, he’d be #1.  And yet we’ve got folks running around talking about him like he’s some kind of geriatric retread scrub. Stop it. Sure, the age is a thing so the plan would have extra moving parts. And the recruiting and long-term culture pieces would have to be part of that. It’s a legit issue. But the 1 indisputable thing is that if Beilein is on the sideline in AH in November, IU will never, ever get out coached. He is a premium guy.

This is what worries me.  I had myself convinced BD was our coach 4 years ago and it's already happened again with BS this time around. 

Didn't someone post a picture of Charlie Brown and Lucy saying "Brad Stevens is answering our calls this time Charlie Brown" right as she's about to yank away this football.  My head tells me that's what will happen again but for now, until it does (or hopefully doesn't) ... Brad is our man!!!!

Greensburg always says how every coach in America is an “outstanding coach.” He reminds me of what Warren Buffet once wrote.
