This guy officially has my attention. Good length, active on defense, can create for himself off the dribble going towards the basket or creating space on the perimeter, and seems to have deep range (lots of 3's 2-4 feet beyond the line). Has played well anytime the competition has ratcheted up as well. 27 points vs Wisky & 19 vs Murray State this year, 17 & 7 vs Ohio State last year.

My worry is that Brad Underwood at Illinois will be all over this kid, being that he is from Chicago

Tom Crean as the new assistant and Clifton comes back to finally get to play for him. All is well

I still remember him being in a mock draft NBA site before he played a minute at IU.

But he is better than Durr.

Kentucky’s version of Lander for fans.   Local kid that last year BBN were screaming for him to get more PT.   Same this year when he came in and hit some shots.   I like his game a lot though

What lead to his minutes drop this year?  Going from 14 mpg to 6.4 mpg with a lot of DNPs seems strange.  I know he didn't shoot it well when he was in, but UK lacked perimeter shooters this year.

Once we or any program for that matter knows definitely that it has slots to fill, do you attack the portal immediately or wait to see what other names enter the portal in the next few weeks and run the risk you lose a kid you might have otherwise snagged because he commits elsewhere?

You start working back channels like nobody’s business to get an educated guess on who “miiiiight” just be looking for a new home, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
