ODDS AND TRENDS

IU has played a national-high 5 overtime games this season (2-3), the most since they played 6 in 1998-99. The Hoosiers are slated to be no worse than the #10 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament which means they will open play on Thursday. IU played Gonzaga on December 6, 2008, the first game basketball game ever in Lucas Oil Stadium. Gionzaga won 70-54. IU Coach Archie Miller coached in the second game that day in Lucas Oil Stadium as an assistant at Ohio State when they took on Notre Dame. Senior Aljami Durham became the 53rd player in school history to eclipse the 1,000-point mark at IU. He had 15 points against Michigan and is now 52nd in IU history with 1,009 points. Durham has shot 41.2% from long range in Big Ten play. Sophomore guard Armaan Franklin injured his right foot in the first half at Rutgers and hasn't played since. He is averaging 44.4% from long distance in the Big Ten. In Big Ten play, Jackson-Davis has made 94 free throws in 146 attempts. The attempts are the highest of any player in the nation in conference games. Freshman Khristian Lander has averaged 7 points per game in the last 2 games. Freshman Jordan Geronimo has made 53.6% of his shots in league play (15/28). With 20 blocks and 20 steals this season, redshirt junior Race Thompson is one of only 2 players in the league to have at least 20 in each category.

Just remember that "engineering school" has rebuilt the same clock tower three times because they never account for resonance. Instead of fixing the problem they simply don't ring it so it stays standing.
