I hope it's not Beilein, tbh. Nothing against him. He's a great coach. But he's 68 years old and his last coaching act was calling his players thugs..

I'd be cool with it if there's a plan since yeah, he's not a long-term option. His move to the NBA was just stupid. He had Michigan rolling year after year. People make mistakes.

He wins. That's all I care about short term.

I just think his age + the thug comment might turn some recruits off.  There are some older coaches out there, but they're all established at their schools. Beilein would be building something new at 68.

All the guy has ever done is win?

Nothing against him, except his age. It took a while for him to get rolling at Michigan. We (nor he) have that kind of time.

Steven's or JohnB short term. Just uneducated thought.

Also, thanks Archie. I have zero doubt you put a lot into it. I can't imagine what goes on we don't see or even think about. Things just didn't work. I think everyone wanted you to be the guy. I'll end up rooting for you later at the new spot.

So petty from Devonte hahaha. Obviously it's about Archie, but I wonder what he's referring to specifically.

It really doesn't seem like Archie clicked with his players at all during his time here. Strange cause wasn't it the complete opposite at Dayton? Also we never saw his wife. She was everywhere at Dayton. The Millers just weren't ready for a real basketball fanbase.
