Bad matchup defensively. But was out after the game getting up 3's with TJD rebounding. Lander was also shooting after the game. There's a video on Twitter of it, but I'm too tired and lazy to find it.

I got ya.

GREAT WIN AT HOME FOR OUR HOOSIERS!

- Minny was hitting some BS shots in the 1st and in the 2nd. I saw some comments on our defense on Twitter but I honestly thought our defense was fairly strong, especially out of the gate. We came READY for once!

- Great SETS throughout the night, we saw SETS for TJD, Race, Hunter, and Frank. Is Mike Roberts calling the SETS? He's the one telling them on the white board.

- TJD came ready from the start, nice!

- Hunter getting some confidence again. I still don't trust his defense but if he's hitting shots like last night along with Al, then they HAVE TO PLAY!

- Trey has a long ways to go with his shot. How did his dad allow him to shoot like that? lol

- Phin was nice, Kristian was solid.

- We were down early in the 2nd but never gave up. Have to credit the team for that, we never give up it seems.

GO HOOSIERS!

Thank you. I was thinking, or hoping, this was the case. Similar to Hunter sitting the bench late in what was a career night for him, just far too many quick guards from Minny it would have been a nightmare defensively trying to play TJD, Thompson and Hunter with Rob, Al, or Franklin. Also seems that Leal gets the short end of the stick defensively and winds up having to body down low. He battles, but not a good matchup for him. Thought Archie did a great job. The offensive sets were far more fun to watch last night

I know our numbers haven't really shown it, but doesn't it seem like over the course of the year, our offensive flow has been much, much better than last year? Obviously our offense has many shortcomings, but it seems like our movement is way more solid this year.

I would agree most definitely. But last night seemed there were some new wrinkles. In particular the few times in the second half we got those curls off the baseline screen and then the pocket pass to Jerome or Thompson running the baseline seemed new, and as someone said were very reminiscent  of Troy Williams. Making shots and some spotty defense from Minnesota plays a part in that, but last night was just more "fun". We've gotten open looks all year, to your point, it just shows there's a coherent plan on offense when you can see past all the bricks we typically lay out there. Challenge with this team, as has been the case all season, will be stringing this type of performance the next time out and beyond. Just my $0.02.

Oh good point. Also seems like we reverse the ball faster than in previous years. The one thing I constantly wish we'd do (since Romeo's year) is add just one or two back-cuts a game. I feel like I've only seen a handful during Archie's tenure but our defenders nearly steal the ball on every handoff.

Not to be a sunshine pumper after a win against a middling B1G team, but...

I think this team is far better than the record suggests. Lots of close losses that could’ve gone the other way if the ball fell in a slightly different direction. For all intents and purposes, we “should” be looking at least at a 16-5 record right now and in the top 5 of the conference. Only 2 blowout losses, which is nice, and they haven’t lost (or won) more than two games in a row this year, which is a weird stat.

Lots of work to do—they need to take care of M$U, get comfortably in the tournament, and win at least the first round for me to be more positive about Archie. Still think they could surprise me.

Yes better than last year but I think having guys that are actual threats from 3 opens things up more. You could even see it last night that things in the paint and baseline opened up when we were hitting from 3.

If there was a consistent 3 shooter we’d be a B1G title contender

I don't trust our team yet, but I totally agree. After the game Andy Katz was saying we are definitely a team that could win two games in the tournament, and I think our record suggests that we can play with almost anyone.

I will say I thought I had a pretty solid porn collection.  Reb showed us what we were missing.  I am sure the mods have a thread buried somewhere with probably about 10k nudes from that one man.  We would come back the next day and Dude would have a hundred new nudes on the mod board or a massive PM thread.  It was truly impressive.  He loved his Asian women and long night discussions with Olivia.

To add to the game good team win.  Clean up the careless turnovers.  Loved the ball movement and feeling like we started the game with a plan/purpose.  Biggest problem with this team is stringing wins/effort.  Carry it forward.  This is all everyone wants.  Good job last night boys!
