IU MVP vs North Alabama

IU moves to 10th in Ken Pom Defensive Efficiency.  16th overall.  37th in offensive efficiency for those interested.   Worth keeping in mind that 4 of the 6 games have been played away from home against (4,15,31,and 64).   Not bad for a team that’s weakness is shooting.  If they ever figure the shooting  out or get shooters into the program  they will be a handful moving forward.

I was thinking that during the game- The only major component this team lacks is shooting. There are other issues, of course (lack of front-court depth without Brunk for instance) but if they were just a decent shooting team they'd be a real handful.

One day they will get lil jimmy flat top out of Shooterville In. Then the process will be complete. Then all will be well.

Armaan Franklin was terrible in the first half when the game was decided. Should he be awarded MVP for a very good second half performance? I would give MVP to the best player on the floor, the one who put IU safely ahead in the first half, the one who made Franklin's second half wide open 3-point shots possible--Trayce Jackson Davis.
