I've lived in Florida for 40 years, but I was born and raised in Indiana.  This sure doesn't paint a very pretty picture of the state.

They probably deserved to hear it from the school board politics standpoint. I’m not real upset with him. Obviously it meant something if people cared enough to complain. You or I could say it and no one would give it a second thought.

A lot of people in that community are just as upset by that firing as Dakich is. Not to mention their school board had an emergency meeting at noon on a weekday and gave the coach less than 24 hrs notice about the meeting. Also the superintendent or AD(I don't remember which off the top of my head) son was on the team, sounds like Jr didn't get enough playing time and daddy got mad.

Similar garbage happened to a former HS coach of mine and it was absolutely ridiculous. Luckily he’s moved on to greener pastures and remains a heck of a coach.
