Interesting offer: He's had two fantastic years in a row, but would be a one year rental, and is a 6'5" pocket passer, not an RPO guy.

That 832 rushing yards comes out to 208 per year, all as a starter. For comparison, Sorsby had 278 last year as a 3/4 of the time starter, and Sorsby had about 40 more rushes last year than Rourke in his highest carry season.

Looks like he can run. And Cigs said he plays to his players strengths, like you would expect most coaches to do.

He's far less of a runner than Sorsby.

But quite a bit more accurate as a passer. The play calling may have had him running less because they didn't need it as much but he definitely had less run attempts per game than Sorsby. I haven't watched Ohio so I don't know.

Anyways, Sorsby is gone.

Whoever our next QB is will be vastly improved with the opportunity to get his name known in the national spotlight. We're in for a treat folks. Coach Cig plans to make IUFB the QB mecca and it's going to be glorious to watch all of this unfold!  Coach Cig takes in transfers and turns them into Conference POY.

Compete baby! He has to know they are going to bring in another guy.

Exactly. No way CCC enters the spring with no qb competition. We've all been so shell shocked the last few years (decades) that we don't know what a well run Indiana program looks like.

So what will Jackson do? He hasn’t entered the portal yet, correct?

He’d likely have to sit a year if he did. There’s no reason for him to enter at this point in time.
