NOTES

Indiana returns home after nearly three weeks on the road where it played in the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands and in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge against Miami. The Hoosiers went 3-1 in the road swing that featured top-25 wins over No. 5/6 South Carolina and No. 21 Miami.

A win over Miami helped the Big Ten secure the win over the Atlantic Coast Conference in the two league's yearly challenge. It's the first time the Big Ten has won the challenge. Indiana improved to 8-5 overall and have posted back-to-back wins in the series.

Junior guard Jaelynn Penn paced her squad in the win over the Hurricanes, with a season-high 17 points including a perfect 6-for-6 at the free throw line in the final 1:17 of the game to help seal the victory.

IU continues to climb in both major polls this week, up to a program-high No. 14 in the Associated Press and No. 16 in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches poll.

Redshirt junior guard Ali Patberg was named to the Paradise Jam All-Tournament team, Big Ten Player of the Week honor roll and most recently to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list. She is the team's second leading scorer with 12.4 points and a Big Ten high 5.5 assists per game along with 5.5 rebounds per game.

North Florida comes to Bloomington for the second-straight season on Saturday night. Indiana leads the all-time series with a pair of wins in 2005 and in 2018.

Quick breathier before game at Butler next week. Then Youngstown St for a quick cupcake then a ranked UCLA team in Bloomington. Could win all four of those non conference games but two of them won't be easy.

Love the non-conf schedule though. Win all of those and you are a near mortal lock for NCAA tourney with a pulse in Big Ten Season. Finish in top 2-3 in Big Ten and 14-4 or better in conference and you are probably a top four seed hosting tournament games (yes outside of Men's basketball, most postseason tourneys take place on campus till late rounds with higher seed hosting or a four team regional)

Berger is in uniform and went through warmups but is not expected to play but is expected back for Wednesday's game against Butler.

That's when we need her. Should be able to beat UNF with anyone in lineup.

We’re a women’s basketball school!!

Proud of what these ladies are doing and building. Let’s put this away and get some of the bench players more run.

And a soccer and a baseball and a swimming and a football school as well as others. Actually seem to be pretty good at everything besides Men's Basketball right now. Who would of thought?

No. Florida wasn't ready to roll over and play dead and started making buckets in the 2nd Q to keep hanging around at halfime trailing our Hoosiers 28-19.      No. FL hitting 5-9 on 3's is keeping them close.              Wise 10 pts; Patberg 6    Wise 5 reb; Holmes with 4.
