IU won 73-49. Up next South Carolina and Baylor

Will be a really good measuring stick to see exactly where we are. Those programs are the cream of the crop. We could very well be staring at a couple beatdowns. Hope not, though.

So nice to be on the other end of this. Florida is a low end Power 6 program which is what IU was not to long ago. Good Power 6 teams used to come into Bloomington and blow us out. Nice to now be the solid Power 6 team blowing out other low end BCS Teams on the road.

Recruiting matters. Nice to finally have five 5* recruits (Berger, Penn, Patberg, Allen, Holmes) and elite Big Ten level talent on team.

On the heels of beating Florida, our women's team moved up 1 spot in the rankings to #17 in the AP poll.

And B1G honors for Grace Berger -

Indiana sophomore guard Grace Berger has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week for her performance against Florida on Friday night.

The Louisville, Ky. native went 10-for-15 from the field in Gainesville for 23 points and added a career-high five steals along with three rebounds. Her efforts helped the Hoosiers improve to 4-0 for the second-straight season.

The honor marks the first IU player to win the Big Ten Player of the Week award since the 2016-17 season when Amanda Cahill earned honors on Dec. 26, 2016. It's the second weekly honor for the Hoosiers this season as forward Mackenzie Holmes was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week (Nov. 12).

Berger and the No. 18 Indiana Women's Basketball team will travel to the 2019 Paradise Jam this week. The Hoosiers will play in the Reef division and get underway on Thanksgiving night when they face No. 5 South Carolina.
