Bracketology and Team Resumes

Kent St will be tricky. We should win. TJD needs to eat. Reneau needs +++++ minutes. We are better with him on the floor last 3-5 games. Our best rebounder, especially offensively.

We should settle for too many midranges. Impose our damn WILL on them. Push them off the 3 point line. Hustle to long rebounds.

That’s the recipe……

Miami is a different but similar story. Very talented scoring team. We will struggle guarding their guards even though we have the “ 1st rounded”. Can we score enough. Or commit to defense. Sure could see a first round L if team lets them build confidence.

FAU is a team of one very large defensive minded monster of a big and a bunch of excellent, aggressive 6’2” - 6’4” guys.

Does that work for you?

I didn’t disagree with you. I agree that FAU is a terrible draw for Purdue as well

From what I see, they go 8 deep.  Undersized......eight deep, three players with major minutes are 5'10", 6'1", and 6'1".  Only true interior players are Hornbeak (6'9") and Payton (6'7").  Both never shoot outside and make the shots they got but almost never shoot.....and they both foul quite a bit.

Once again a reminder that a teams overall NET number isn’t as important as the numbers inside a teams resume.    I’m sure I will have to argue this next year but

FAU was top 15 NET and got a 9 seed.
St Marys 11 NET and got a 5 seed

IU 30 NET got a 4 seed.     IU got a 4 seed because of who they played, where they played and who they beat

It's all good.  I know I'm one of the ones arguing about the metric.  Just think that if it's a metric used to sort, it still should be more accurate.

Oh, Good Lord --- Reece Davis just referred to the NCAA committee chair (and our former point guard) as "Chris Bradley."

Oy-vey!

I heard that. What an idiot. Chris Reynolds played in a final four. Do your homework Reece.
