Another team-high today for @GulbeAleksa, this time with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals in a 53-51 loss to Portugal. Latvia will play Spain tomorrow at Noon ET.  Full box score below.  The 7 ugly TO's really stands out unfortunately.

A team-high 13 rebounds and 8 points from Aleksa Gulbe helped Latvia to a win over the Netherlands!  They advance to the classification games 9-12 against Lithuania on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. ET!

She only shot 2-14 from the field and had 5 TO's.

Aleksa Gulbe has accepted a training camp invite from the Connecticut Sun!

Interesting to see how this plays out since Gulbe had expressed her intent to return to Europe to continue her basektball career.  Regardless of what she chooses to do I certainly wish her the very best.

Aleksa continues to be on Sun roster who has a lot of experience playing basketball.  Could she be a surprise for wnba?  She is highly skilled and has some size and strength.  Does anyone have any information about her status?

I think roster will be cut 4 players this week with first regular season game May 7.

Question:  Is a couple rebounds and a couple assists in 7 minutes worth more than a couple buckets/scores in this situation?

May depend upon how they viewed her on defense in conjunction with the above stats.  Hoping for the best for her.
