Dan Gibbs of NY2LASports.com -

Jalen Washington – 2022 – PF – Meanstreets
Washington is an elite level prospect at 6’10” with all that he can do on the floor. He has great length and moves incredibly well for his size. He’s a good versatile scorer that gets it done on all three levels. He is a skilled scorer around the basket that couldn’t be stopped but also shot the ball well spotting up from three.

Eric Bossi update on Washington -

Indiana:  “We had a zoom with Mike Woodson last week and we had a good talk.  It was great.  He gave us a little bit of background on himself, what type of person he is and his basketball philosophy and what he is trying to do at IU.  He is trying to get that family feel back and prepare players for the next level.”

Illinois Hoops Prospects - This wasn’t the best game I’ve seen from Washington.  He struggled to get any rhythm and wasn’t the primary post-up option with size mismatches at other spots.  Still, he flashed some of the skill that has schools like North Carolina offering him.  Washington’s mobility and length stands out, using his strides to change ends and rotate over defensively.  While he didn’t score too much, he finished around the rim and had a smooth one-dribble pull-up from the right wing.  His footwork and touch are very advanced.  Washington projects as a McDonald’s All-American candidate but he was frustrated at times tonight.

Eric Bossi :  Still working his way back from a sophomore season knee injury, top 25 big man Jalen Washington isn’t playing this weekend.  However, he is in Dallas supporting his Meanstreets teammates and there is some news on the visit front with him. Washington said that he will visit North Carolina officially on the second of June and Stanford is set for the 12th. The Indiana native also mentioned that he’s looking at which local schools he can see and when.

The Pangos All-American Camp started today and a list of all of the participants was posted.  Washington's name is listed as invited but unable to play due to injury, visits or other conflicts.

No idea the specific reason.

He dressed but didn't play and didn't warm up in the Jr-Sr all-star game, so I imagine it was injury related.
