Third option: real, pre-recorded snippet accidentally airs with him talking about his motivations to commit to Purdue, UVA, etc, but not THAT he committed to Purdue.

Exactly what was said matters if it was accidentally aired.

Idk. It adds suspense. The tweet being taken down doesn’t substantiate it as fake. People not jumping on it makes sense too. No self respecting journalist wants to steal the shine.

All logic says IU.

All else points Purdue.

If he chooses PU good luck to him. At some point Archie has to show he can beat PU and Painter is really good with bigs.

This was going to bite us at some point and if Painter lands the two top bigs in the state this was the year that bill came due.

Archie could very well rebound from this and it won't make or break team (especially if we land another top big) but at some point Archie needs to beat PU if he is going to remain coach here regardless of anything else he does and so far he has not shown he can.

I’m still not buying it. We constantly talk about these analysts on Rivals and 247 changing their picks at the last second. There’s been no movement.  No late comers looking to snag an easy correct pick.

If we miss in one it should not prevent an upward trend if Archie and crew are up to the task.

The coaches don’t know yet supposedly and the family is denying this happened or that it is real so what would they be basing their changed pick on?
