I hope he's a momma's boy

Maybe the mommas love plays dividends. Unlike what happened in 2018 cycle when we lost out on charlton because his mom wanted him to go to UCF and wouldn’t sign off on IU because it wasn’t her choice.....

Boom!

@AllenTrieu: BREAKING: #Indiana lands four-star WR Rashawn Williams from Detroit King, who just announced for the Hoosiers on his mother's birthday. He said it felt like home and the people there were genuine. https://247sports.com/Article/BREAKING-Indiana-lands-four-star-WR-Rashawn-Williams-131636183/

Now we just have to keep him

Basketball players need to be choir boys in public and quietly uber competitive kids who show up to beat you.

Football players need to be cocky, tough as hell, and show up to kick your a$$ with no smile and no apologies.     This kid looks to be exactly that.  Good!

Hope he stays committed long enough to sign his LOI.

I've seen a couple headlines saying he's our highest ranked recruit ever. ... I wonder, though, if ratings were similar 25 and 30 years ago, how Dave Schnell and Anthony Thompson would've been ranked. I can't imagine getting recruits with a better ranking than those two. I believe one service at one point had Schnell as the No. 1-ranked recruit in the country. And I think Miami wanted him bad (and that was back in the halcyon days of Jimmy Johnson). I would guess if today's ratings were applied back then, both Schnell and Thompson would've been five stars.

I like this. Arrogance has never really bothered me with athletes because I think it’s part of the mindset that helps to be successful.

Humble athletes I appreciate but I certainly don’t expect athletes to be that way.

A lot of “being the best” is “ thinking you’re the best”
