 Coming off a successful fall season, the Indiana women's soccer team is back and looking ahead to a spring of training and competition. They have announced their spring schedule, which will consist of five matches.
The schedule starts on February 26 when they travel to Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana, to take on Butler.
On March 5, the Hoosiers will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats.
Indiana will host one of two matches at Bill Armstrong Stadium on March 27 against Tennessee. On April 10 the Hoosiers will host Butler.
The schedule will conclude on April 16 when they travel to Illinois.
In the 2021 season the Hoosiers posted a record of 9-5-4. They recorded their best overall record, most wins and highest RPI since 2013.

2/26/22 vs. Butler (Grand Park) 6:00 PM ET
3/5/22 at Cincinnati 5:30 PM ET
3/27/22 vs. Tennessee 12:00 PM ET

Tommy Berry Named Women’s Soccer Director of Operations

 IU head coach Erwin van Bennekom has announced the addition of Tommy Berry as the Director of Operations.  Berry played collegiate soccer at Indiana and has strong connections in the Bloomington community as the Director of Coaching and Player Development for the Cutters Soccer Club.
"We are thrilled to welcome Tommy to the Indiana women's soccer program," van Bennekom said.  "Tommy has deep soccer roots in Bloomington and as a former player for the cream and crimson he has deep pride for IU and a strong passion for the game. Tommy has a wealth of soccer experience as well as excellent management and organizational skills and will be an asset to our program in multiple aspects."
Since 2005 Berry has served in the role of Director of Coaching and Player Development for the Cutters Soccer Club. In his role he hired, developed and maintained a coaching staff of 20-25 coaches to work with youth travel soccer players. He also implemented a training curriculum and created yearly training and competition schedules.
"Soccer has been a huge part of my life as a player, coach and administrator," Berry said.  "Joining my alma mater as the Director of Operations for IU women's soccer is an exciting next step in that journey. I look forward to joining Erwin and his staff and do my best to make positive contributions to their great environment."

 IU head coach Erwin van Bennekom has strengthened the Hoosiers roster with the addition of transfer midfielder Yoshiki Kitadai.  
Kitadai, a native of Kochi, Japan played two seasons at Iowa Western and will have two years of eligibility remaining with Indiana.  
In her freshman season Kitadai led the Reivers with nine goals and three assists for a total of 21 points. This past season she started 18 games and scored five goals with two assists.
"We are very excited for Yoshiki to join our program," van Bennekom said. "We feel that her way of playing fits very well with our system and what we are trying to do. We can't wait to get her here and integrate her with our returning players."
