That said, if OSU gets Carton, I’ll be slightly more nervous about TJD. If we get Carton, I’ll be much more comfortable about TJD. I believe IU is in the lead for TJD, but OSU is a challenge

I THINK IU is right behind UM for DJ, right now with O$U in third. It'll be interesting to see how the next month plays out. If we land DJ in confident TJD will be a Hoosier.

There has been no chatter that Ohio State is a serious contender for Carton. It is a two horse race at this point.

There’s hasn’t been much chatter at all outside of Michigan honestly

Geez...the OV started on Wednesday afternoon and goes through Friday. I guess nothing is an absolute, but those are some strong tea leaves.

Let me clarify that Holtman will go back to Columbus to have dinner with DJ and his family it is now being reported.

Well if he was:

1. With the recruit and his family on Wednesday,  in Atlanta for half a day, and back Thrusday for dinner with them? No big deal.
2. If he hasn't been with them yet and comes back Thursday dinner-time for the first meeting? Bad form.

I guess as a recruit this is the reason you don't schedule your OV during a live recruiting period.

While we have watched Curtis and Harris, Beilein watched a 2019 guard and Holtmann has obviously been at Peach Jam too. I don’t think any staff knows where DJ is leaning
