Evidently IU is on the radar since they are in the edit

I’m guessing IU chances are slim since this is the first I’m hearing of his name unless I missed something Lol

I'm thinking Tipton Edits screwed up.  There's just no way in men's recruiting that names literally pop up unexpectedly like this.  And FWIW, we're not mentioned on either 247 or Rivals as in the mix.

Miles Kelly CG from Georgia.  Unranked on both 247 and Rivals and nothing of value on MaxPreps.

The 6-foot-5 Kelly averaged 21 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals per contest for Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia during the 2019-20 season.  If that city sounds familiar, it is because it is the home of Indiana senior guard Al Durham, Jr.

Corey Evans -

In the 2021 class, Trey Kaufman is the guy for Indiana. Sure, there has been talk that he wouldn’t mind leaving the state for college and that after the North Carolina offer the Tar Heels may have surpassed the Hoosiers. Virginia is also in the mix, as are Louisville and Purdue, but Archie Miller rarely loses a battle for a top prospect from his state, and until proven wrong, I am going to stick with Kaufman for IU.

For the year after, the safest bet would be to look at who the top prospects are in 2022 from the state of Indiana. That brings us to D’Ante Davis, the younger brother of DeAndre Davis, who will be a freshman at Louisville this fall. The Cardinals could be tough to beat if his older sibling’s time at Louisville is a good one. But D'Ante already holds an IU offer, so he is one to keep an eye on. The same could be said for Avery Brown, a three-star guard out of New England that Miller and his staff have made a push for in recent weeks.

Avery Brown is a athletically hyper-talented but unpolished, and very intelligent young man.

I LOVE it when an uber-athletic player has an offer list that consists of multiple Ivy League schools, Howard, and... IUBB.

247Sports article from Travis Branham captioned:  How The Blue Bloods Can Finish Off Strong in 2021.

Archie Miller is coming off a strong 2020 class landing four Top150 prospects which he can build around for the years to come. In the 2021 class, Indiana extended offers to 14 prospects and has already secured one four-star commitment from Logan Duncomb.

Right now, the Hoosiers are really looking to secure a prospect at the four spot with three of the top priorities on their board being Bryce Hopkins, Trey Kaufman and Mason Miller.

Indiana is also in the mix with prospects such as Blake Wesley and five-star prospect Aminu Mohammed.

Indiana could have as many as six scholarships available and they will also likely be looking to bolster their roster with some experience and talent that is set to hit the transfer market next spring.

If the Hoosiers land two of the guys currently on their board and then capitalize on the transfer market, then Archie Miller and his staff will very likely have another Top 20 class in the country and have a roster built to last based on the 2020 and 2021 recruiting cycles.

Background on Shane Dezonie.

I suppose it's because I'm a septuagenarian but this stuff from some of the targets bothers me.  It just smacks of me, me, me, me:  The 6-foot-4 and 190 pound Dezonie is from Pennsylvania, and he started high school at Hudson Catholic in New Jersey before moving on to Huntington Prep in West Virginia.  He is now at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire for his senior season.

Been awhile so I'll post an update on our '21 recruiting efforts.    Lots of names fall under the 'Never Offered' category but it's more of a catchall than anything else.  Never know for certain if there was any genuine IU interest or if it was a courtesy call or a goodwill gesture more than anything else but at some point, our name was referenced.  And as everyone I'm sure knows, Logan Duncomb is currently our only '21 commitment.
