2019 General Recruiting Thread

"Maybe" is fair. Not a lot of "maybes" (spelling) have went the direction I would like in my life though. With Romeo I felt a "probably" which is significantly different. I'm still and probably always will be more of a pessimist.

I’m with you on this one, although you could probably consider me a pessimist as well. In my mind he’s been going to Michigan for a while, so if he does come it will be a pleasant surprise. If he doesn’t, on to the next PG.

I'm surprised how confident they are he won't start. Not sure I would go somewhere I wouldn't start as a 5 star

I agree. They are delusional to think he would come in to sit the bench. They are talking like he would only get 15 mpg. He wouldn’t go there if that was the case.

I find this systematic and targeted recruiting strategy extremely boring. Hearing about the same kids all the time is not exciting and in no way conducive to finding the next Tim Priller.

A lot of awesome in this thread. If you asked me for a list of 10,000 words/phrases I would see in the "2019 General Recruiting" thread "refractory period" would NOT have been on the list.
