Corruption in College Basketball

I wonder how you bring this up? Does the kid do it or the coaches? If i had talent and was offered money i would have turned that school in and played for a clean university. Does these family's have any morals these days? I bet most the big schools are clean it looks like a tactic to gain a edge by smaller schools imo

If you're an 18 year old kid, you maybe didn't have the best upbringing, and a coach, agent, or whoever puts a $100k check in your face you might have a different reaction.

Sometimes there’s a story out there that’s even too big for TheLair to break. Massive bomb shell for basketball. Not sure when.

Gotta be Alford if it's coming from the Lobos insiders...

Now THAT would be fun timing, with Langford visiting UCLA this weekend.

Edit: unless it includes Schilling. Didn't think of that at first...

I know but growing up a fan of the sport most knew it was a bad thing from the time we were 8. If you have big talent why not wait till u go pro and get money. I get the kids but i bet in all cases the parents were involved and that is a shame

Sorry to have to ask, but what's the tweet say? I can't open it on my computer...since I'm supposed to be working... ;)

It says "Sometimes there's a story that's even too big for TheLair to break. Massive bombshell for basketball. Not sure when."

BTW, that LoboLair tweet is only 20 minutes old.
They are the New Mexico version of Inside The Hall, and they've been engaged in some good investigative reporting in the past.

Lyle is at New Mexico. It could have something to do with him. Maybe more on his dealings with Louisville

Yeah, it seems like a lot of the time the parents/guardian/handler are right in the middle of things. They're "laughing all the way to the bank" as Troy's mom so eloquently put it.

For those wondering why archie is talking and other schools are quiet i suspect our situation is unique in the fact his brother is at the heart of this and they have coached with each other and are close. Probably alot of top donors and school admins asking serious questions. My guess anyhow

You know, it is a certified fact that Jaquan Lyle fully cooperated with the NCAA on UL's Hookergate. A straightforward "tell us and you get immunity" deal.

And that's not all he got from his time at UL; that picture is out there of Jaquan sitting on the hood of his shiny new Mustang from the day he committed to Louisville.

This tweet is so vague, anybody could do it right now. See, watch.....

Hey guys! I just heard about big breaking news that will get released about this investigation sometime. It's gonna be great. When you hear it, just know you heard it from me first!

Well...yeah. But in the context of this week, and based on the source not being some kind of random is my lover (like I seriously love him so much) tweeter, I thought it was kinda interesting.

I mean I'm frankly I try to be an honest person and my parents were amazing, but at 18 if somebody put that kind of money in front of me... it'd be very very tempting.
