Gordon averaged 20 ppg as a freshman with a broken left wrist, was drafted in the top 10,  and was the NBA's sixth man of the year. He is really good.

No doubt. EJ was ranked the best two guard in the nation for his high school class by most of the scouting services. Big coup by Sampson! Too bad he hurt his wrist and back while at IU.

It's still early with a lot of kids undeclared. 5 B1G teams won't be in the top 10 after all is said and done.

Yes - I think we all know there is a long way to go with the 2018 recruiting class. It's still fun to see 5 BIG teams in the top 10 at this point though.

Interesting in an article about should IU swing for the fences they mentioned all the names I have heard before except it mentioned top 40 Silvio De Sousa as an Indiana prospect. That's news to me

New name to me as well.  He does play on the same AAU team as IU target Darius Days and our newest walk-on Ethan Lasko.

Had a good AAU season; consistent scorer with a very good shooting % - FT's need work.  In his 11 games, he grabbed 90 rebounds; 43% off the offensive glass.

Kind of a fun question to chew on. Since about 1980, when I graduated HS, Oden number 1 easily. Then a tier of Glenn Robinson, Eric Gordon, Landon Turner and maybe Alan Henderson. Would put Langford with these guys. Definitely ahead of guys like Zach Randolph and Jeffries.

What a b out Shawn Kemp?

Freak athlete.  He never played in college, did he?

Nope. Accepted to UK. Prop 48. Got booted for, I believe, stealing jewelry. Went to some J.C. and never played.

Solid group for how small our state is. Amazing every year the D1 talent we push out.

So do you think Hunter, Jallow and Henry will pass Anderson and Phinisee in the other polls?

No. They shouldn't. Jallow being above Phinisee and Anderson devalues those rankings for me.

And Hunter's high school competition is terrible so take his ranking with a grain of salt as well.
