Say it ain't so, Archie! Not another East Coast recruit!

So was this kid found by Ostrom? For our hardworking recruiting forum gurus, would be cool to somehow start tracking our own recruiting metrics for the coaches.

Holy crap...if you look at the ITH video of his weekend highlights, the kid went 12-16 from three against high-level competition, often with a hand in his face, and is 6'8" with a really quick release. Big time showing for Swider.

And, a nice youtube highlight video from the weekend, complete with focused shots of Archie, Ewing, and Frank Martin at the 5-10 second mark, courtside and watching:

Easiest comp I can remember in a while: Derek Willis

I've learned there's no consistency in how these box scores get submitted.  In this instance he hit 6 of 7 on 2's and 7 of 9 on 3's whereas usually it would be reported as 13 of 16 FG's and then the 3-point shots listed separately.  And there's absolutely no way to know if the stats that get posted are truly accurate.

Not a single assist recorded in the Indiana Elite-Game Elite game by @adidasUprising. That's going to throw the advanced stats off.

To clarify, it was because the person recording stats didn't mark any assists down. It's obviously impossible to have zero assists.

Just some examples from an NCAA approved scouting service trying to keep track. OF this guy is a numbers guy and is worth a follow on twitter
