Idk. How many other D1 coaches have 4 guys looking over pageS of notes? 1 voice, 1 message. And it should be united. And it should be easy to understand.

This struck me as odd as well.

I get that many are done with Crean and want him fired, but to look at that picture and somehow find something to bash Crean is a major stretch IMO.  Actually pretty petty if you ask me.

But there's not? There is one person looking at the notes. Like it isn't even a question if anyone else is. Nobody is glancing in his direction. I am even more perplexed.

Seriously, have you ever seen a college coach with a 2-3 inch pile of papers they shuffle through every single game?  Substitution timings?  Is it menu's of restaurants in the area?

I see Crean looking at a piece of paper, 3 assistants/bench guys doing other tasks, and Riley.

Seriously, there is no way Tom Crean survives this debacle...Right?

I don't see it... but stranger things have happened. Please, God, just end this now.

I'm a little disappointed in the lack of media calling for Crean's head today.

<sarcasm>

Why would they? The boys played hard. They fought. They tried to grasp what Crean's teaching them. All the media pressure and all the talking heads are just so unfair. They are really trying. They want to get it. Maybe if CTC had more signs.

I think part of his problem is his feel for the game. He trusts analytics too much and that is coming from someone that is a data analysts. Numbers in either direction always tell a part of the story. He trusts those numbers and tendencies too much. I will agree with that. I have been at numerous games over the years of all sports where a coach would go through notes. Not the whole game, but periodically.
