They zoned us and we shot a ton of threes in the first half. In the second he was fouled several times dribbling before going up instead of going straight up.

Ah okay gotcha, that makes sense. Heck, he should've joined the 3 pointer party! Lol.

I literally have noticed they don't feed bryant hardly at all as of late..said something about it the other day. A few on here seem to be turning against bryant but I feel like he is not being utilized the way he should be.

I've noticed that too. I can't tell if it's by design or if he isn't calling for the ball enough or what, but he hasn't been getting many touches lately. I hope it changes soon because we're going to need him to come up huge when Big 10 play starts.

Bryant flashing to the middle of the zone and no pass. Davis gets in the game and passes galore to the middle. Is DD our zone buster? Davis also challenging shots at the rim. Is TB playing soft for a reason?

Honestly I may take heat for this, but I feel like impact at IU wise DD will have a better career than Bryant. Nothing against Bryant just have a lot of hope for DD. Bryant will obviously be an NBA player, but I wouldn't say Davis doesn't have a shot either. DD & Juwan will both get on radars next year.

I'm salivating at the thought of a upperclassmen Davis with a few years with Je'ney under his belt. We have an absolute steady force at center for years to come! Finally! Same for Morgan.. a senior Morgan and junior Davis... oh yea, front court will be locked down that year.

Apparently, our defenders, especially Josh Newkirk, have been "hopping" on defense instead of properly sliding their feet. Last night, Tom Crean was ready to respond to Josh in-game. No, this is not a photoshop.

So I read on another site that Juwan Morgan hurt his ankle, and could be out against Nebraska.

Hope it's not that serious.

I listened to CTC's post game with Fisch and nothing was said. Fisch didn't ask about any injuries though. Even if he did, CTC probably would have given a non committal answer.

I'm away from home and won't be able to see the game until I see the BTN replay on my DVR early next week. But Austin Peay brings a classic memory to me from my sports writing days in Bloomington years ago.

I was assigned to cover the Terre Haute Regional for the IHSAA Tournament (back in the good old days before class delineation), and there were preliminary NCAA games (this was before the 64-team format) going on in TH also so I got double duty (without overtime pay, of course). One of the teams playing was Austin Peay, which had a star player named "Fly" Williams. I will never forget the cheering section shouting, "Let's go Peay" (sometimes I definitely agree with that, and as I get older, I seem to agree with it more than ever). Another cheer was, "The Fly is open, now let's go Peay."

Also in that regional prelim was Marquette, which won (I can't remember who it beat right now), but Al McGuire after that game was the greatest interview I ever did (and I had a nice laundry list of big names during my time behind the typewriter--yes, typewriter). He was without a doubt the funniest guy I've ever interviewed, making fun of his team ("We're so weak we love playing on TV because we get extra time outs" was the funniest line; in those days, a team got 5 timeouts per game, no media breaks unless the game was televised).
