A place where IU fans are happy about a 5 Star commitment and don’t feel the need to take jabs at a lame duck coach every day and a place where more then 1 percent of the place actually likes the coach and the direction of the program.  There is a cloud over this program for almost  every fan the comes here. That’s not going to change until IU gets a new coach.  Right or wrong that’s the reality.  Even if IU starts winning again most will still be checked out (myself included) and that stinks

I always enjoy seeing quality players come in. I watched ISU play and it would be great to see IU play like that.

This place has been doing this for over 10 years now and that’s not going to change even with a lame duck coach that 99 percent of people want to move on from.   Isn’t that part of the fun for people projecting possible rosters?   I’m old enough to remember Mario Kegler looking good in candy stripes before he chose someone else.  Anthony Lee was going to be a missing piece for the Hoosiers as a grad transfer.  Then he was going to torch IU because he ended up going to Ohio St.  slowing down isn’t as much fun as projecting rosters that most won’t come to light.  Some   IU fans are in a rough spot and that sucks.   Getting a 5 star kid should be celebrated throughout the fan base but with where most stand with the head coach that’s not possible.   Here’s hoping next year will be back to normal

Not to be disrespectful but what is your idea of normal?

  3. I thought I read that Woodman looks for players who are NBA caliber. He doesn’t want to spend his time teaching. He is the Coach and he is doing his job when his asset is on the bench. I could be wrong but fire him anyway

  4. I live in the deep south and only get my information from this board. Thank you! Every year I read about IU has turned the corner and the new season is going to be soooo much better.BS! New players and 5 star players won’t impress me anymore with this coach. Please get rid of Mich Wooden!!!

He put up the same assist numbers in conference as Galloway. And let’s not forget he was in Iowa’s high tempo offense with some shooters. Mack did his work with much less talent around him.

Mack also has 3 years left…. Perkins is done after next year. Again, to me, it’s not close….

Sure, take them both. But if you have to choose… Mack

Does it really make a difference. After a year under Woodson Mack would probably transfer anyway.

Totally disagree. Guessing you haven’t seen many of those kids play.

That’s a top 25 KenPom team offensively with a chance of being decent defensively. Small and Conwell rebound extremely well for guards and Galloway is + defender when not tasked with guarding smaller, quicker opponents. Reneau and Mgbako guarding their natural positions only helps.

The problem is you assume that they would be playing for a good coach?

    No games tonight. None.

Staring at 4 blank TVs is a lot harder than I thought it’d  be

Found a lady on my couch upstairs, says she’s my wife. Seems nice

I found a female on my couch and the dog wanted to know when was the next field trial. I told her we would leave on Wednesday for Georgia and she better do better than the IU basketball team.

No he's not. DeVries, Wade, Buzz Williams, Steve Lutz and Danny Sprinkle are the real names in the mix.

They are looking at too many people.SD needs to show their ad how to do a coaching search.

So when should we expect to officially know if Woodson will be the coach for another year or not? Monday? Tuesday?

If they do keep him, I don't think an unnamed source "leaking" that he'll be back is sufficient. The AD will need to at very least release a statement of support and confidence in Woodson. Too much noise around firing him to try to ignore it.

When Leal gets the for sale signs up in his yard

Of course, it is. No other major program would hire Diebler, so why would OSU? He can go to Akron and they can hire him later if he’s a rising star.

I wouldn’t be the least intrigued in Walsh in that scenario. Just like I’m not interested in Rosemond even though he’s undefeated coaching this team. And just like I want interested in Davis after his season at IU. And just like I wasn’t interested in Dakich after his short stint.

What if Hill woke up. You ALMOST have to look at him.
