Don't disagree he has underperformed in the tournament the last few years at UK and should have more titles than he has produced with the players he has had, but year in and year out he gives you the opportunity every year to win a national championship. Not many coaches give you that chance. Being a HC is about promoting your brand, recruiting, developing talent, and winning games. He's been pretty successful at all of those his whole career. Not sure Woody is good at any of them honestly. UK would never put up with Mike Woodson, but the bar has been lowered so much at IU, our admin doesn't seem to care. 

Actually he had a tee time after the game that he want to get an early start.  Hence getting eject. 

I agree. I had a 7th grade junior high team that was 14-0 and a dad asked to speak to me after a game. His son was our 6th man and played more than most starters. He said what does my son have to do to start. I said we need to lose before I'm changing anything. We went 22-0

If it’s a foul in the first 5 seconds of a game it’s a foul the last 5 as well.

Swopes got fouled on his 2nd attempt. No surprise the refs decided to swallow their whistles. But he was tackled. So much for "giving shooters space to land."

If he's staying out west, UCLA or any of them are pretty awful choices. Arizona and Gonzaga are the kings of the West now. But Woody should go for it. He's got potential and that attention would be huge for the brand of Indiana basketball.

I would like that but he was pretty much a west coast kid and recruit. Doubt he will consider us.

Kentucky won a national title and accepted an NIT bid the next season... BUT... Indiana is too good to ever accept an invite lol.

It isn't a bad example just because they lost. Hell the next season they went back to the championship game.
