LTFOL. The inside out offense is offensive. StoobyHoo: Woody had no guards, who could expect him to get one in only 3 short years. Woody can't and won't recruit. StoobyHoo: Who needs recruits he can buy them through the portal with all his buddies money. The lack of fundamentals is unacceptable: StoobyHoo: What do you expect from these money hungry portal chumps. Other coaches of great P5 teams don't have the same problem: StoobyHoo:______Fill in excuse___________________ -

I was about to look up a tasty crow recipe when we had them down 21-5 and the defense was on lockdown, then Woodrow said hold my beer. -

He is the face of IU basketball. Part of the gig is being fawned over when you succeed and getting ripped when you underachieve. White knighting for a guy that is undeniably lazy and petty making 10s of millions of dollars is silly. -

Best fan donation amount is $1000 True fan donation amount is $5000, a snifter of Scotch and 3 Cuban cigars and/or sitting in for CMW on 3 hrs of recruiting visits. -

Forgot Mgbako or do you not count it when the mother has to call CMW and convince him to sit up in the barko lounger and recruit her son? -
So CMW asks him to separate two friends, 6th year seniors, and ardent CMW backers because they enjoy each others company too much and your take away is that Howard is the problem because he didn't want to fulfill such a petty directive. Not shocking
-
Ah, too much camaraderie. Seen it a million times. Team togetherness can be a cancer that spreads throughout the locker room, it needs to be nipped in the bud before they all start standing up for each other. Wasting time building team unity instead of out in Dunn meadow looking for their three point shots. Makes total sense now.

Real question. Beyond just being a d1ck, what would necessitate this? Two of the players that had your back. SMH
-
So you are saying Dolson wanted CMW back this last off season? That QB and the mega donors didn't dictate retaining him?
-
yes "A" job when he already had "THE" job. And you are right he surely did know all of CMW's recruiting warts. Good on him trying for sticking it out at his dream job and trying multiple avenues to improve CMW's poor recruiting habits. Bad on CMW for rebuffing them and petulantly firing a guy that the athletic department valued so highly.
-
The problem is his position is unique, so there is no "somewhere else" He was an IU grad that loved the university and the basketball program, so he tried to change what he saw as an anchor to the success of the program. Just like it is silly to suggest that there is "somewhere else" for fans that want changes to the program, or that "true fans" are required to blindly root for the obviously low effort HC, suggesting a recruiter trying to improve his HC recruiting habbits, when told to bugger off, should move suck it up or just "somewhere else," when there is no emotionally equivalent position is a bit disingenuous.
-
Have any of those you've fired been offered another position not under your supervision immediately after you fired them by your superior? I think that is a validation that the firing was more personal than professional.
-
I think Dolson knows where things stand internally, he is just been neutered when it comes to being able to do anything about it.
-
No surer way to get fired than asking CMW to get off the couch and do his job.
-
CMW should hire you, just so he could fire you for your insolence.
-
If he did something illegal or in violation of the NCAA, I highly doubt SD would have offered him a position in the athletic department. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's most likely a lazy, petty, vindictive, blames others, quits on his team duck.

Well he always said he was steering this team towards that huge hump in the distance, so it's not like you weren't warned. -

Did not see the game but 4-19 vs Tenn and 6-25 against traffic cones from 3 is troubling. Sure it could be early season rust, but until proven otherwise this coaching staff is 3pt shooting kryptonite. -

Well when you have to spend all your own time searching under chairs, in your locker, under the scores table for your shots it leaves little time to hone your craft. -

I mean if he can do all that, all from the barcalounger with a fat stogie in his mouth, a whiskey in one hand and calling for a tee time with the other, I'm all in. -

So, if we forget MM first half of last season, Rice's second half of last season, and Carlyle on ball shooting % and this staffs history of bad 3 pt shooting... LOL, for one that claims others are writing a narrative, you sure are going Tom Clancy on these stats.
