1 thing that is totally official is Woodson is infact not going anywhere! Put that to bed. I am not sure calling out fans is a good move but whatever. I take it personally and I like the cocky fire! Now back that **** up or my untrue Fandom gets elevated lol

I think he is saying that if we win some games Woody can say that he righted the ship and walk away with dignity, which is probably the only way he is going away this year.

Depends. Ultimate doomsday scenario is Malik and MM return, we get a few decent guys in the portal, win 20 games on the nose and squeak into the dance as a double digit seed before getting blasted in the opening weekend.  Woody believes he's flipped it, insists on a 5th year, and Quinn gives it to him while coaches like May and Schertz are now long gone.  It's almost guaranteed to happen imo.

My dream timeline is something like:
1. [whatever happens and IU‘s season ends unceremonious, disappointing, and sad]
2. OSU hires Sean Miller or keeps Diebler, who cares
3. We get a “thank you Coach Woodson” memo, whether he’s retiring or relieved
4. Rumors abound during the FAU tournament championship that May will leave FAU for IU after the season. He brushes it off that he’s coaching his team in the presser after they win the conference tournament title.
5. FAU plays great and wins in a 7/10 or 8/9 game, then gives, say, UConn or Tennessee all they can handle but falls in OT. (Good luck to them but I’d like him on the job soon, selfishly.)
6. IU announces the hire the next day after he tells his team. Surely some of them will join him in Bloomington.
7. May brings Abernathy’s son, keeps Walsh, grabs that guy on the ND staff who played at SIU, let’s rock.

@Chris007 I appreciate the information that you’ve shared here the past few weeks (and throughout your time here, of course). It allowed me to feel hope in IU basketball for a brief period of time, which hasn’t happened for many years. Now it’s back to sadness. Thanks, QB!

For me, all that aside, it’s future outlook and recruiting. So I suppose you could file me under roster construction. If we hand landed Boogie, Queen and McNeeley, this entire thread would not exist regardless of the product on the court this year. CMW would 1000% be coming back if we had a top 5 recruiting class with all top-25 recruits. We could overlook the other warts. Instead, we didn’t, and that magnifies them. 

Maybe college basketball will do away with the 3pt line. This team would fare much better

I have to be honest I do like me some coaching searches. The Christmas edition is just as fun as the Spring break ones.

All I have to say is I hope Gabe Cupps becomes the next Ryan Arcidiacono and everyone hoping for him to be recruited over eats their words. How hilarious would it be for him to lead us to a title while Fland spends one season at UK averaging 8 and 3 and goes to NBA after UK loses in an 8/9 tournament game?

Chef, a movie written, directed, produced, and starring Jon Favreau features the Cuban. Great flick so long as you have a healthy suspension of disbelief and can get over the fact that Favreau cast Sophia Vergara AND Scarlet Johansson as his romantic partners, while he plays an unemployed chef. 

Just subscribed to B1G+, went thru the app on Roku TV. It only offered the Conference ($15.99 monthly) . I went online and they had all of the packages there (team is $9.95 monthly). Didn’t want anyone to get ripped off more than we already are lol.
