If Woodson can bring in one more outside shooting threat, a capable backup center to spell Ballo and Reneau when he gets in foul trouble half the time, and MM takes the freshman to sophomore jump we see many kids take this team should be competing for a Big Ten Title. 
 
The guard play should be so much better and that makes all the difference in the world of college basketball. It didn’t happen often the last couple seasons but whenever X had a good game the team played much better. I expect we see a lot of that out of Rice but much more consistently.

I'd have no problem with adding Essegian.  We all know the team needs to improve 3 point shooting and he has proven in the past that he can do that in the Big Ten.

I wonder how many of Kentucky’s current roster/incoming recruits follow Cal to Arkansas. Cupboard might be left pretty bare for Pope year 1 in Lexington. 

It might be, but Ballo is also a heck of a college player so I would have no issues adding him to the team if he wanted to come to IU.  Also, he is a terrible free throw shooter so he will fit right in.

Well then that's just dumb then unless you are getting Reneau or X a layup.  Ware had great position but definitely possible he did that on his own as opposed to how Woodson drew the play up. 

I just watched the play again.  The play was clearly drawn up for Ware, he had his defender pinned down low and Malik just didn't pass him the ball and instead forced up a tough shot.

He did go 2-1 in the BTT tournament 2 years ago. He’s now 4-2 in it.

Crazy thing is if we had finished the comeback against Northwestern last month, IU would have been in a 3 way tie for 4th and had the tiebreakers over them and Wisconsin.  That's how weak the Big Ten is this season.  This bad IU team was a close 4 point loss away from having a double bye.

With Northwestern’s win over Minnesota tonight I believe IU now officially avoids playing on Wednesday in the Big Ten Tournament. Can still be anywhere between the 6-10 seed at the moment. 

Not Tonsoni is only AC guy on. I like all of them for one reason or another. To be fair all of them wanted to move on. And even doubled down on that.

Can't imagine Banks sticking around.  I actually forgot he was on the team until he got subbed into the game in the final minute last night.  Crazy that he was getting some playing time in the tournament last season and making some nice hustle plays for us.  When he was playing a littler earlier this year he looked like he had no idea what sport he was playing.

If they had done that last year we probably would have landed Dalton Knecht, in the top 3 of the conference, and nobody would be talking about Woody losing his job.
