  1. Unless he has bad allergies like my son. He said his head felt like 100 lbs and ears were clogged. Worst round in 4 years so my wife let him ride in the car. But pollen is really bad right now.
I'm allergic to cicadas. The millions from both broods are going to drive me nuts

  2. It is at IU.  And that’s the problem.
Then look at Painter and Edey.  Uconn let him score his points and defended the perimeter = National Championship.  You need to be more dynamic than just post play.
I don't think I have seen him argue that we need just post play. Both is needed.

  3. This Kentucky search shoukd be a cautionary tale to some posters on here who believe getting a "home run " higher can happen when IU moves on from CMW. That isn't to say we fans shouldn't hope for a homerun and IU shouldn't try for one, but that it is possible IU settles.
Personally, I hope we get a home run hire and stick it to Kentucky

  4. I ain't mad at all and I understand your point (I think - I hope). Please allow me to take a stab at it from the mods' point of view:
There are two current diametrically opposing views about threads veering off topic:
    1. The posters that are pissed when, in their opinion, any and every thread evolves into an anti-Woodson thread.
    2. The posters that are pissed because, in their opinion, they can't say anything anti-Woodson, even when they think it is relevant to the discussion at hand.
My take? Both points of view are right.
It is a challenge to read the board and keep things kinda/sorta on track and reasonable. And it is a given that threads will occasionally veer off-topic. It is also a reality that an individual poster may only post off-topic (in this case anti-Woodson) once and feel it is overzealous to have the thread contain a warning or have a post hidden. But when that is done, it is because of a trend, not any particular post.
So here is how we try to do it (remember, we make mistakes too!):
    • Have a (very active) thread that is a place to vent about Woodson sucking and as a bad choice for IUBB Coach.
    • Allow topics to veer some.
    • But when there are a series of posts that veer a thread, such as a recruiting thread, into an anti-Woodson "it doesn't matter who we get because the staff sux" thread, we try to steer the thread back to its intended and described topic. We want readers to be able to click on a thread topic and generally get the content relevant to the thread title.
It's a subjective challenge, but we try to get it right.
Our hope? That posters take the totality of the board into consideration when they see a topic veering - making it a place for great Hoosier fans and adding to the success of the interactions.
    Hope that helps!

    Well said

  5. To point 2 Banks, Gunn did not improve but Reneau did. Is that because of the staff or is that because the individual player put in the time to get better?
IMO, a staff can work with a player to help them improve, but if a player doesn't want to put in the work outside of the sessions with staff, they either won't improve or the improvement will be minimal.

  6. Here is who Purdue currently has on scholarship for next year.
    Smith
    Loyer
    Catchings
    Kaufman-Renn
    Colvin
    Berg
    Heide
    Waddell
    Harris
    Cox
    Burgess
    Benter
    Jacobson
    Furst
They are currently over signed by 1. I could see a couple guys transferring and them adding another piece from the portal.

    Doesn't look intimidating to me

  7. it's an odd place to criticize Purdue after they had a dominating year...but the critique most had of them was they were a giant surrounded by opportunistic mid players and that's exactly what they were last night. Most of their roster is average at best. They had a great year and sure whooped our butts....but at no point was I rooting for them lol. My B1G or Midwestern alliances do not include Purdue even though I like Painter and wish him personal success.
My predictions for games are rarely correct, so I'll leave this here lol58610aea0728df437779e1e85d944b7b.jpg
