Whether they actually said it or not is moot in the big picture. It is however an easy scapegoat when the most concerning thing was how bad the team and the trajectory of the program looks and you'd rather not say it out loud. There's a level of toxicity within every large fan base. But when it appears to be building stronger and stronger, there's a reason for that. Every symptom has a cause.

I know its said the committee doesn't place as much emphasis on the conf tournaments as we would think, but if Carolina loses tonight (which they're really flirting with) then you have North Carolina, Tennessee, Auburn, and Arizona who all lost to lesser opponents. Meanwhile you have Iowa State who pummeled Houston today. Think there is any shake up for that last 1 seed?

I thought hard about it but the deeper these tournaments go on back to back days the more I fail at O/U. I was looking great on the Under for FAU/Temple....then Temple scores 21 points in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half (barfs).

But I was so close...

I asked myself over and over last night: "How could Purdue guard play possibly keep up with the likes of UConn, etc?"

After this failure I wouldn't be surprised to see them get him a ladder. Luckily it's out of their hands now.
