Everyone seems to view the situation as Mike Woodson acting alone in this when he almost certainly did not, but I'm sure he was happy to deliver the message. You can't tell me there weren't multiple VIPs in and around men's basketball and the athletic department who were clamoring to dump those clowns. Big donors who expect big things and a polished product top to bottom for their money, maybe? Bona fide IU NIL collectives who didn't want themselves associated within the same realm of the obnoxious Hysterics? People say it ended purely because they put Woodson on blast, but it likely just so happened to be the excuse many within the program were waiting on so they could drop the hammer on HH. And before the hardcore anti-Woodsons come for me - no, this is not a pro-Woodson take. Simply big picture thinking. Because God knows if most of us peons saw HH for what they were long ago you can bet certain people with sway did too.

Yep. I couldn't really watch any of it because of my sons' baseball schedules, but I also wasn't checking the scores but maybe twice a game. I didn't even bother with game 4, and then you see it was a 30+ point blowout and was so obvious what Boston was doing. When you have a Finals where one team can literally shave a game in order to close it out on their home court it's beyond boring.

I'll be honest I'm just impressed/concerned people are able to lock away message board posts in their long-term memories around here, let alone who posted them.

The Jacobsen kid can be a problem. Once he gets his footing and figures out college ball they can go right back to what they did with Edey. And he's more athletic with more range. Hopefully he doesn't put on much weight and can be pushed around down low.

And also sounds like three guys who are serious about playing together.

I was telling a friend I feel like I'm about 60/40 Dallas. I hate Boston sports in general but no one on their current roster is overwhelmingly punchable except maybe Payton Pritchard (and I don't even have a specific reason for that). The other reason is I was raised equally on Reggie Miller and Larry Bird growing up so we rooted for the Celtics more than enough times. But it would also be hilarious to see the current roster lose, so there's that.

I haven't followed this thread for weeks, so I don't really even know why I'm here other than morbid curiosity. But the die hards in here are going to have a crappy time next season regardless because Woodson is either going to: 1) achieve enough to stay (you'll be pissed because your take was wrong and he's still here), 2) underachieve and still stay (you'll be super extra pissed), or 3) underachieve and be relieved of his post (he'll be gone but you'll still be pissed). Those still calling for his head at this point only win if he's fired, and even then you don't really win because the season went badly awry and we again have to start over. So why don't we just wait and see how it goes?

They've missed several chances to get Walker meaningful reps through the season as well.

They badly needed to switch on the screen for brown going to the corner. That's how he got a catch and shoot.

I'm in step with you there, and the only reason I can think of is I'm purely a glutton for punishment. That and I know basketball is about to go away for many months. Off season bores and saddens me lol.
