It sucks from the standpoint of the homegrown IU fan getting poached. But I agree this is nowhere near a program breaker. I'm really looking forward to our back court additions that don't have a freshman learning curve and come with 3 years eligibility. I hope the Indiana boy represents basketball country well. But UConn can kick rocks, Mullins or no Mullins. Really big rocks. While barefoot.

I think he'll be as bummed as anyone, if not more. But you can't think more or less of him here. We loved seeing his positive updates and if you saw Rick's name come up, you couldn't wait to see what else was coming. He was just a messenger, excited to clue his IU brethren into what at the time was very good news. But not even Rick can control a teenager's brain. Rick is still Rick, and as the Autumn weather settles in I hope he's cozied up with as many giant bowls of Hormel goodness as the good Lord allows him.
