Maybe that coaches rumors account was on to something!

The 27th announcement came from backalleyguru on the peegs chat. He’s been saying that since before Archie was even fired.

If it’s been planned for a while then yes. There is clearly a reason IF that dates been set since before Archie was fired.

Well if you could give definitive proof of how this discussion has impacted the coaching search I might believe you but I don’t think you can. Besides unless you are Scott Dolson or someone in the athletic department how would you even really know if fans are making an impact?

I said it was a theory that I put out there for fun. Who cares “besides you” it’s a message board and to be honest I can say with almost 100% certainty that crap you’re spewing isn’t believed by any coach except Mark Few and he’s turned down many jobs over the years mostly because he has it made. The fan base has it’s issues at times but all fan bases do. So if you believe every little article you read by some idiots that don’t know anything except how to get clicks then I can’t help you and you should probably get off the message boards because nobody here is going to listen to a guy that comes on here ting on the fan base which is what you’ve done since you showed up.

I’m not going that far. I’ll give anyone a chance. I just saw signs with Archie early on that it wasn’t going to go well and it didn’t. That said I don’t think it has to be Brad. I just want it to so I can rub it in the faces of people that said he’d never take the IU job.

Also I left out the part about how Thad Matta fit in. Thad wanted the job and was in discussions but then he backed out. So why did Thad back out of those discussions? I’m thinking Thad backed out because he found out that one of his former assistant coaches was coming home and agreed to take the job and that was none other than Brad Stevens. So then some idiot from Rivals decided to write some unconfirmed article that exaggerated the situation but what that told me was that Dolson and company are paying attention to what’s going on with the IU message boards just like Glass did.

I’ve been sitting on that for a week and figured I might as well join in and help take the top off this craziness lol

Brad Stevens Theory Conclusion My theory is this. That Brad Stevens will be the coach of the Indiana Hoosiers and that this whole denial process was part of the plan all along. Dolson has his man and has been biding his time interviewing the IU guys who have felt alienated in the past. Will a hire be announced the 27th? I don’t know but at least one person out there thinks so. Okay everyone can tell me I’m crazy now! BRAD ******* STEVENS!!!!

Brad Stevens Theory Part 5 The twist to this was the deadline. The Celtics might’ve thought they could improve the roster to convince Brad to stay or something. Maybe Brad still wanted a center because they are very small compared to the other top teams in the league at that position. So what did Ainge do? He got a bench scorer and traded away their starting center.

Brad Stevens Theory Part 3 and 4 That’s when 0708’s source said be ready for more denials. Then minutes later the source said it’s over Brad backed out. Well then I saw the video and let me tell you. That was the worst denial I’ve ever seen. Brad would’ve been better off just staining into the camera and saying “I am not taking the Indiana job! I’m the Coach of the Celtics and will continue to be” or something along those lines. Instead he made up some crap denial and was so confident in getting it right he had to read it from a teleprompter like a college kids reading note cards during speech class. So everyone in the media believed the denial and whoever was leaking the details was told by Dolson, Stevens, or whoever to shut the **** up until they were ready for the announcement to be made. That’s why the OSU guy and others quit talking was because they were told to shut up.

Brad Stevens Theory Part 2 Then at some point Brad and IU brass/boosters started talking to see if their was interest because IU new Archie wasn’t the answer. Brad was frustrated and was willing to listen. So IU fires Archie because a booster paid 10 million for him to hit the road. Then that’s when rumors started flying because a booster wouldn’t pay 10 million just to get rid of a guy unless Dolson could guarantee things would get better. Then Brad denies his interest in the job but over the course of the week the rumors continued to grow. I think this was because someone in the athletic department or some of the boosters involved couldn’t keep their mouths shut but Brad still wasn’t ready to leave the Celtics. So he had to get the heat off of him.

Brad Stevens Theory Part 1 The OSU guy was right. Brad and the Celtics did start having issues at the end of last season because he wanted to play GH even when he struggled at times but Brad new he wasn’t washed up like many believed. So then GH wanted to come home to Indiana while at the same time Brad wanted the Celtics to get more size on the roster. So he wanted Myles Turner and Doug McDermott from the Pacers however Ainge wanted to fleece the Pacers by getting one of Warren/Vic too. That was t happening so the deal fell through and GH signed a bigger deal in Charlotte and Ainge only signed a 6’9 Tristan Thompson.

Here we go then.
